Start 24 hours before pickup

Remove food, loose shelves, bins, and ice. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for shutting down and defrosting the unit. Put towels around the base if meltwater is possible, and keep the floor dry.

Map the path

Measure the narrowest door, then inspect corners, stairs, railings, and the final route to the truck. Remove mats and fragile objects. Do not dismantle the sealed cooling system.
